Ceramic Charms

Love tiny things? Want to take a deep dive into charms? This workshop will lead students through the process of creating ceramic charms for jewelry, keychains, and other applications. We will learn about high-temperature kiln wire, bead trees, and clay basics. Students will have the whole class to sculpt and underglaze/glaze their pieces. Perfect for beginner ceramicists or students with clay experience looking to expand their practice.
What You Will Learn:
- How to sculpt small ceramic charms using clay.
- How to use underglazes and high-temperature kiln wire.
- Techniques for preparing ceramic charms for jewelry and other uses.

Firing Schedule: All work from this session will be fired during the spring term. Students will receive an open studio pass to use during the spring term to complete any unfinished work. The spring term begins on Monday, March 22nd.
