Printmaking Open Studio Weekend: Lino Print Workshop

Looking for a weekend to pack in all your printmaking dreams? Join us for our Printmaking Open Studio Weekend! The weekend begins with a 3-hour workshop, followed by open studio time for you to continue working independently.
Lino Print Workshop participants will learn how to prep a quick linocut to create a surface ready for printing in just a few hours.
You may also choose to participate in the Open Studio Hours only. Participants must have technical proficiency, be able to work independently, and agree to follow all studio rules. Please note that after the first 3 hours, the weekend becomes a monitored open studio, not an instructed class. The fee is the same whether or not you participate in the workshop.

Justin Keller
Justin J. Keller (born in Montgomery County, 1999) is a printmaker, visual artist, educator and archivist currently working in Philadelphia. His practice revolves around the understandings and misunderstandings we experience when observing our familial lineage and communities we reside in . Comprehending history in any context requires access to accurate documentation of the location, people, architecture, etc. of whichever time period we are currently investigating. When we attempt to impart that knowledge to other human beings it often leads to miscommunication and misinformation. Keller uses this space of illegibility as inspiration for his multi-layered works. Keller graduated from Tyler School of Art with a BFA in Printmaking in 2022. He has taught printmaking at several institutions along with facilitating his own educational public printmaking workshops .
