Discover the fundamentals of screen printing, a versatile printmaking technique that transforms your designs into stencils for application on surfaces like fabric, paper, and more. This course introduces the essentials of coating and exposing screens, mixing inks, and setting up a reliable printing workspace. You’ll create prints using both analog and digital methods, exploring how mark-making, collage, and photography can enhance graphic and textural elements.

What You Will Learn:

- Produce a one- to two-color edition of 12 prints
- Explore a range of stencil-making techniques used in screenprinting
- Understand the possibilities of the medium through hands-on practice and examples of contemporary and historical work
- Set personal goals for the course, informed by your own sketches, ideas, or previous work (printed or non-printed)
