Stained Glass: Lead Came Project

Students will learn the art of lead came stained glass. This class is designed specifically for beginners who want to learn the fundamentals in a supportive, step-by-step environment. Students will work on a window panel inspired by the geometric patterns of Frank Lloyd Wright's stained glass designs. This course is ideal for those new to stained glass or seeking a strong technical foundation. Students will follow a pre-determined design.

Instruction will cover essential glass cutting, fitting, and lead came soldering techniques, with plenty of hands-on practice and individual support. Foundational glass concepts and historical context will be introduced throughout the course. No prior experience is required.

    Based on each students individual projects, the instructor will guide you on additional supplies. Please do not purchase these ahead of the start of class. These may include: 
    - Lead channel
    - Sheets of glass
    - Solder (60/40)
