Six Films: Made for Each Other
Special Event | Available
THE ACORN & THE TREE: PARENTS ON FILM
From devotion and humor to horror, across three continents we'll look at six films exploring the universal subject of parents. Drama and humor mix easily among these features as filmmakers explore a myriad of themes, all centered around those family ties we can never quite escape.
We'll present the history of the films, the directors and the collaborators, and explore the underlying themes and methods the filmmakers pursued. It's a slate of films rich with ideas; we look forward to our post-screening discussion.
