Adult Summer Workshop | Registration opens Monday, May 4, 2026 8:00 AM EDT

This one-day stained glass workshop is well suited for beginners and more advanced students looking to complete a stained glass wall hanging in one-day. Projects will be limited to a selection of prepared patterns featuring designs inspired by nature. Students will assemble their own piece and practice glass cutting after demonstrations from the instructor. Participants will leave with a finished piece.

Instruction will cover essential glass cutting, fitting, and copper foil soldering techniques, with plenty of hands-on practice and individual support. No prior experience is required.

Kevin Huang

Kevin B. Huang is a Philadelphia-based artist and educator whose multidisciplinary practice centers on material exploration and process. Working primarily with found and industrial materials, his work investigates structure, perception, and transformation. Huang has exhibited nationally and internationally, received support from organizations including the Fleisher Art Memorial and Brooklyn Arts Council, and teaches stained glass at Fleisher. He maintains a studio at NextFab in Philadelphia.
