Mosaics & Stained Glass Open Studio

Program Description

Open Studio provides access to self-directed students interested in exploring Mosaics and Stained Glass in a shared space. Participants must have technical proficiency, be capable of working independently and adhere to the studio schedule. Note that this is a monitored open studio and not an instructed class.

Open Studio Hours are subject to change depending on studio availability. Hours are:

Monday: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Tuesday: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Wednesday: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Friday: 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM*
*On select Fridays Open Studio participants may be asked to work in Mixed Media, but will still have access to tools and supplies in the Mosaics Studio.

First time open studio users must participate in an orientation. To schedule an orientation, contact adulteducation@fleisher.org.

To make our classes and workshops accessible to everyone, Fleisher offers tuition assistance every term so that everyone can join our creative community. Tuition assistance applications can be completed once registration is open by clicking here.

Required Supplies

- Open studio participants may use the shared tools in the studio but are responsible for purchasing their own materials.
- Bring any additional tools or materials that you prefer to use.
- Each registrant is assigned a personal shelf for the duration of the session to store works in progress and materials; all items must be labeled and removed at the end of the term.
