Using the rich medium of collage, you’ll be introduced to the basic building blocks of design, like line, color, shape, texture, value, and space. Through instructor guided exercises you’ll gain confidence and broaden your understanding of basic art principles.

Amira is a collage artist, painter, and printmaker. Her work serves as an attempt to navigate growth, grief, and joy while centering her experiences as a black woman. My teaching practice involves experimentation and intuitive making with mosaics, painting, and collage.
