Adult Class | Registration opens Monday, February 9, 2026 8:00 AM EST

Loosen up your inhibitions and begin to draw with more confidence. This class will feature an array of experimental drawing exercises focused on improving your observational skills. Drawing exercises are done from observation which focus on learning scale, proportion, and perspective. With guided instructor practice, students will gain skills pertaining to speed, line confidence, and new ways to approach new subject matter.

  • • 18 x 24 drawing pad
    • Charcoal 
    • Set of drawing pencils 2h-6b range
    • Micron pen set or other black pens/markers of your choice
    • Eraser
    • 24” Ruler

Claire Haik

Claire Haik is a painter and printmaker whose work focuses on natural imagery and an examination of the hidden processes that exist beneath the visual exterior of nature. Haik received her Certificate of Fine Art in traditional oil painting from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art where she was awarded the Lois and Charles X Carlson Landscape Residency. In 2015, she earned a Master’s degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Claire is passionate about sharing her knowledge and has taught painting and drawing for over 10 years. Her work is exhibited in galleries throughout the Northeast.
