Image Transfers on Fabric (2 Sessions)

Adult Workshop | Registration opens Monday, February 9, 2026 8:00 AM EST

In this two-session workshop, students will learn how to transfer printed images onto fabric and transform them into unique fiber artworks. On the first day, participants will create image collages on muslin using matte medium and explore composition and optional themes. After drying, the second session focuses on revealing the transfer by spraying the fabric with water and gently rubbing away the paper. Students will then have time to enhance their work by painting into the images, adding fabric collage elements, drawing with fabric markers, or sewing pieces together. This hands-on workshop is ideal for anyone interested in mixed media, surface design, or fiber art, and no prior experience is required.
