Introduction to Machine Sewing is a lecture and studio-based course designed to teach students the basics of sewing/ machine operation. Whether you're a beginner or need a refresher, students in this course will be able to confidently thread and troubleshoot machines, expand knowledge with popular seam finishing, zippers, and hems, and identify fabrics for construction.

We will start by making a tote bag that each student can customize and then we will choose a project to complete based on the group's interests and skill level. This class will progressively build on different skills each week, and is suggested for those who can commit to attending all sessions.
