Week 3-4: Figure Drawing (Two-Week Immersive)

Over the next two weeks, you’ll immerse yourself in figure drawing through focused observation and hands-on practice. This studio experience centers on drawing the human figure from life, with an emphasis on proportion, gesture, anatomy, and movement. Beginners are welcome, and artists with prior experience will also find opportunities to grow and refine their skills.

As the weeks progress, you’ll strengthen your ability to translate what you see onto the page, exploring line, form, shading, and composition. The experience supports skill building and intentional practice, helping you create finished drawings that can contribute to a developing portfolio. With individualized feedback and guidance from instructors, you’ll build confidence, refine your technique, and develop your personal drawing style. This immersive environment encourages focus, growth, and creative exploration.

All drawing materials are provided.

Note: Fleisher will be closed on Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day. This 9-day camp is prorated accordingly.

  • Please review the Summer Camp page of our website and Caregiver Handbook before enrolling. In addition, we ask that you update your camper's account information during the registration process so that our records are as up-to-date as possible.

    Tuition for this camp includes a non-refundable $60 studio fee, which covers the cost of all art supplies. You can read more about our pricing structure here. After Camp Club is not included in the tuition price, and will need to be purchased at an additional cost during or after the registration process.

    To make our classes and workshops accessible to everyone, Fleisher offers tuition assistance every term so that everyone can join our creative community. Tuition assistance applications can be completed once registration is open by clicking here. Applications are due by Friday, March 7.
