Week 1-2: Mosaics (Two-Week Immersive)

Over the next two weeks, you’ll immerse yourself in the art of mosaics. This studio experience focuses on design, composition, and hands-on construction using tile, glass, and mixed materials. You’ll learn essential techniques like cutting, arranging, adhering, and grouting while exploring both traditional and contemporary mosaic styles.

As the project develops, you’ll experiment with color, pattern, and texture to create visually strong and intentional work. Emphasis is placed on skill building and thoughtful design, supporting the creation of finished pieces that can contribute to a growing art portfolio. With individualized feedback and guidance from instructors, you’ll have space to refine your process, strengthen your craftsmanship, and develop your personal visual voice. This immersive experience encourages creative risk-taking while building technical confidence. All materials and tools are provided.
