Summer Camp | Registration opens Monday, January 12, 2026 8:00 AM EST
Week 1-2: Ceramic Sculpture & Vessels
Immerse yourself in the art of ceramics and wheel throwing. Start by learning the basics of working with clay, including centering, shaping, and throwing on the wheel. Whether you're new to ceramics or have some experience, you'll have the chance to refine your technique and experiment with different styles. As you progress, you'll explore surface decoration, glazing, and finishing techniques to give your pieces a personal touch. The goal is to help you build a strong portfolio of work that reflects your artistic vision and growing skills.
With individualized feedback and guidance from instructors, you'll be able to push your creativity and improve your technique, all while building confidence in your abilities. This is your chance to dive deep into ceramics, develop your craft, and create pieces that will stand out. All clay, tools, and access to the potter’s wheel are provided.
Note: Fleisher will be closed on Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth. This 9-day camp is prorated accordingly.
