Jewelry Making: Independent Projects

This is an intermediate course designed to expand on a variety of technical processes, design concepts, and tools essential for understanding and working with non-ferrous metals on a wearable scale. Some intermediate techniques that will be covered include: sawing, filing, riveting, forming, texture, soldering, and finishing.
What you will learn:
1. Design concepts as they pertain to wearable and decorative metals
2. Working with specialized tools
3. Intermediate techniques
Please note: Class will not meet on Monday, January 19 and Monday, February 16 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. and Presidents' Days.
