Drawing in Perspective (online, tuition-free, five sessions)

Having trouble with perspective? This class will bring it back to the basics of one point and two point perspective. We will cover the basics of drawing shapes in perspective, creating perspective grids, and basic layouts in one and two point. We will do follow along drawing demos and study some of the best artist working today. Did I mention were going to do it all by hand as well? Well we are!

We're gonna have a blast!

What you will learn:
1. Basic principles of perspective
2. Simplifying shapes and masses
3. Creating perspective grids.
4. Create a scene in one point
5. Create a scene in two point.

Please note: Class will not meet on Tuesday, September 23 in observance of Rosh Hashanah.

• Participants must have a valid Fleisher membership.

  • This is an online class hosted through Zoom. We recommend that you download the free Zoom application on your computer, phone, or tablet in advance of the first class. You will receive a confirmation email containing a link to join the course via Zoom. The same link will be used each week.

  • • 18 x 24-inch white drawing paper pad
    • Drawing pencil
    • Colored drawing pencils blue and red or any two colors
    • Eraser
    • 12-inch ruler
    • Ink pen of any kind
