Introduction to Black and White Darkroom Photography (five-day workshop)

Adult Summer Workshop | Available

This five-day workshop provides students with the fundamental skills needed to print and manipulate traditional black-and-white images in Fleisher's film photography darkroom. Students will learn how to operate a 35mm camera, develop their own film, and create black & white prints from their negatives. This class offers one-on-one darkroom instruction and time to work with the instructor as you finesse your printing technique.

What you will learn:
1. Basic knowledge of film camera usage.
2. Ability to develop film and print from negatives.
3. Learn specific printing techniques such as dodging and burning, using contrast filters, etc.

Note that this classroom is accessible by stairs only; please contact Fleisher for more information.
