This is an individualized mosaic course. Students who are already working on projects will receive support and feedback to continue growing in their mosaic thinking and skills. Students who are new or unsure of their next direction will be guided to find an appropriate, exciting project. The instructor will lead discussions about techniques, history, and aesthetics of decorative and functional mosaics as well as practical matters of design, pattern, construction, and finished presentation. Information will also be provided about historical and contemporary works as well as where to source materials and tools specific to mosaic.
