Sound Installation Improv with FM Radio (one session)

Adult Workshop | Available

In this one day workshop will create a site specific radio installation and sound improv. Workshop participants will learn basic principles of transmission art. We will use a range of FM radio transmitters and receivers to activate the room and create a site specific sonic environment.

What you will learn:
1. The basic principles of transmission art
2. Tips and tricks for working with FM radio
3. How to create a site specific installation

  • Participants are encouraged to bring:

    • Cell phone (charged)
    • Any audio recordings from their phone
    • Any radio receivers that they may have
    • Any other sound making devices they think might be fun to explore together
