Basic Drawing
Adult Class | FULL
This class is recommended for anyone coming to Fleisher with no previous drawing instruction or experience. You will be led step-by-step how to begin a drawing starting with the fundamentals: line and tone. In each class we will build on the skills practiced in the previous class. By drawing from imagination, copying and from direct observation you will begin to gain a vocabulary in the language of drawing. You will learn to see in a whole new way. We will work primarily in pencil, some pen and charcoal. La profesora habla español.
Main Concepts covered include composition, design, tone, line, texture and perspective.
Please note: This is an 8-session class. Class will not meet on Monday, January 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and on Monday, February 17 in observance of President's Day.
