Come explore Sketching Splendor: American Natural History, 1750-1850, an exhibition at the American Philosophical Society that explores how William Bartram, Titian Ramsay Peale, and John James Audubon relied on Native American guides and expertise as they captured nature’s complexities through their writings, drawings, and watercolors. The exhibition draws on APS's extensive Library and Museum holdings. You will get a special tour of this exhibition, led by Bill Brookover and APS museum staff.
