Adult Tuition-Free Class | This program is completed

With this in depth class on hand printing, we will go over many techniques for achieving formal prints without using a press. Many projects will have the option of recycled and alternative materials, with a focus on refined final pieces. Students will have the option to explore advanced options like natural dyes and supported color mixing. We will go over: relief printing, gelli printing, monoprinting, natural dye printing, DIY screenprinting.

What you will learn:

Cassie Jones

My Name is Cassie Jones. I am traditionally trained in many types of arts and continue to search for more skillsets and experiences with visual arts. I began my creative career working with leather under the brand CUSP by Cassie for many years before moving my sights into embroidery and embellishing. I now am continuing with the trend of fiber work while incorporating fired clay and mixing mediums into my practice. I am currently building a new collection to show in galleries, instructing classes through The Craft Coven, Fleisher Art Memorial, and Black Hound Clay Studio, and facilitating learning opportunities with visiting artists and instructors.
