Drawing in Color
Adult Class | This program is completed
Discover the vibrancy and richness of drawing with colored pencils! Students in this class will use color pencils and other pigmented drawing tools to explore mark making as well as observational and abstract drawing. The instructor will offer demonstrations in descriptive and expressive line quality, color relationships, color theory, layering and more. Participants will practice capturing light and building volume, plans, and texture. In addition to using hard pigment rich drawing utensils, students will also have the opportunity to experiment with incorporating wet media like watercolor and gouache into their drawings on paper.
