Join South Philly Time Capsule’s Sue Liedke for a mushroom-inspired MomMom Craft Night! Get inspired by classic 1970s Merry Mushroom ceramics before creating your very own mushroomy work of art. For each registration, participants will receive a preselected bisque-fired mushroom vessel, cast from vintage molds. This workshop will feature a choice of either a cream and sugar set or butter dish. Selections will be made on arrival. We'll spend the evening decorating your choice using a variety of glazes. Following the workshop, we’ll fire your work and it will be ready for pick up at Fleisher in two weeks. This is an all ages program. All supplies are provided and no art-making experience is required.

MomMom Craft Night is an ongoing program series curated by Sue Liedke that celebrates nostalgic kitschy crafts from a bygone era. Designed for makers and novices alike, these informal gatherings are designed to bring the neighborhood together. Sue curates South Philly Time Capsule which celebrates the vintage interiors of South Philly.
