Adult Summer Workshop | This program has been canceled

Embark on a cinematic journey where creativity meets technology. Over the span of five exhilarating days, students will dive headfirst into the world of digital filmmaking, from conception to completion. Guided by an industry expert and seasoned filmmaker, participants will explore the entire filmmaking process, from scripting and shooting to post-production and editing.

This course is perfect for aspiring filmmakers, digital artists, content creators, and anyone passionate about storytelling through the lens of a camera. No prior filmmaking experience is required – just a desire to learn and a love for the art of cinema.

What you will learn:
1. Conceptualization and storytelling: learn to develop compelling narratives and captivating storyboards that form the backbone of your digital short film.
2. Pre-production essentials: learn about location scouting, casting, and production scheduling to ensure a smooth shooting process.
3. Cinematic techniques: explore the fundamentals of cinematography, including shot composition, lighting, and sound design, to bring your vision to life on screen.
4. Hands-on production: get behind the camera as you shoot your digital short film under the guidance of experienced mentors, putting theory into practice.
5. Post-production mastery: Learn the art of editing using industry-standard software, refining your footage, adding visual effects, and crafting a polished final product that showcases your storytelling prowess.
