Critique your art with Da Vinci Art Alliance and Fleisher Art Memorial. The artistic process does not end upon completing a work of art. If displaying artwork in a gallery setting is something you want to strive for, learning what a curator does will better inform your artistic practice. This new opportunity to work with a professional curator and veteran Fleisher faculty unpacks the multifaceted role of the curator and provides you with a better understanding of how to best present your artwork in an exhibition. The workshop will culminate with a 2 week exhibition that will be on view in DVAA's 3rd foor gallery from July 5 - July 21, with an opening reception on July 6 from 4 PM to 7 PM.

What you will learn:
1. How to effectively discuss artwork and best articulate the ideas your work embodies
2. How curators function and what conceptual and formal concerns inform the creation of an exhibition
3. How to install artwork and present an exhibition
