Sound Workshop (five-day workshop)

In this five-day immersive workshop, open to all levels, students will explore sound art from listening practices to field recording and editing. Artist Jazmyn Crosby will lead four off-site sessions in listening, making, and recording sound. On the final day of the intensive students will meet at Fleisher in the digital studio at Fleisher for a session on editing and composition.

Jazmyn Crosby
Jazmyn Crosby is an interdisciplinary artist whose work investigates communication, technology and ecological resilience. Born and raised in New Mexico, Jazmyn lives in Philadelphia where she received her MFA from the Tyler School of Art and Architecture. She got her BFA from the University of New Mexico. Jazmyn is an educator, an event facilitator, and musician. She is a founding member of Graft Gallery/Collective and is a current member of the Bio Materials Working Group and plays music under the name Glitter Vomit.
