Open Studio Hours are subject to change depending on studio availability. Hours are:

Monday: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Tuesday: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, 6:30-9:30 PM
Wednesday: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Thursday: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Open Studio provides access to self-directed students interested in exploring ceramics in a shared space. Participants must have technical proficiency, be capable of working independently and adhere to the studio firing schedule. Note that this is a monitored open studio and not an instructed class.

Works will be fired throughout the term as bisque and glaze shelves fill. The firing deadlines to complete and pick up work before the end of the term are as follows: third to last Friday (March 1) for bisque firing and second to last Friday for glaze (March 8). All work left on the shelves after these dates will be fired on a rolling basis.

First time open studio users must participate in an orientation. Orientation is held on the first Tuesday evening of each term. If you need to schedule a separate orientation, contact Chris Archer at carcher@fleisher.org.
