Program Description

In this two part workshop students will meet first meet at Fleisher and work in our Digital Lab. With an instructor, students will work on their own digital design in Photoshop and prepare their file to be sent to Revival Letterpress. In advance of the second session, designs will be printed on to photopolymer plates.

During the second session students will meet at the Bok Building. The session will take place in the Revival Letterpress shop. Working with print maker Matthew Hiller, students will work on their design and print up to 20 editions. The studio fee covers the cost of printing.

Thursday, May 30: Meet at Fleisher and bring ideas of potential digital designs.
Thursday, June 6: Meet at the Bok Building.

Required Supplies

• Students should bring ideas to the first session of the workshop that can be manipulated in Photoshop. Working with an instructor, you'll finalize the image so the digital design can be printed in photopolymer and used for printing.
