Explore and draw the fascinating animals within the Academy of Natural Sciences. This workshop emphasizes the understanding and illustration of animals by breaking down the basics of anatomy. At first, students will learn to draw skeletal structures of dinosaurs to learn how their body plans work, move and come alive. We will then learn the basic principles of how muscles fit onto skeletons. The class will then move throughout the museum to draw the many animals on display in their dioramas, learning to draw skin, fur, feathers and scales.

What you will learn:
1. Learn basic animal anatomy
2. Grow your understanding of how to construct a drawing of an animal
