Are you Fiber-Curious? Have you wondered how felt is made or wanted to try to make felt yourself?

In these workshops we will discuss the basics of felt-making from a brief overview of the history of felting, to the tools needed, to a discussion of various fibers and embellishments that can make your felting interesting and textural. Through this class you will gain understanding of the techniques that can be used to turn your roving into a beautiful piece of fabric, jewelry or wall-hanging.

Please note that the process of felt is physical and requires the use of hands, arms and fingers.

In this workshop, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind scarf using felting techniques to embellish a silk scarf. This will result in a lightweight, beautiful covering for anytime of the year!
