This course will focus on accessible and cheap ways of making artwork through the medium of Printmaking. Techniques such as relief printing, screenprinting and mono printing will be taught during the course of this class. Students will gain materials that they can use to continue making prints at home without the use of a press or tools that the common person wouldn't have. Printmaking is also an art process that allows for people to reproduce their work in a fairly quick way. This will allow students to come out of the course with a range of various works in their portfolios. Students will also leave the course with strong skills so they can continue experimenting on their own and/or teach others what they’ve learned.

What you will learn:
1. Basic skills in the medium of printmaking and how to reproduce your very own prints
2. Experimental ways of creating artwork using found materials
3. Skills in carving with lino and woodcuts
