Program Description

This class focuses on developing a strong foundation in mosaic skills, understanding of appropriate material choices and color theory. Students in this all-levels class will work on a project of their own choice with guidance from the instructor.

This is an 8-session course.

• Sketchbook/notebook recommended
• Dust mask
• Safety goggles (for those who don’t wear glasses)
• Gloves (nitrile or latex)

Instructor

Veronica Kairos

Veronica Kairos is a multi-media artist drawing from disciplines such as photography, sculpture, fabric arts, metals and fused glass with a special affinity for mosaics. Her mosaic portraits have been sought after for public art commissions and galleries. Her teaching style focuses on foundational skills while providing individual attention to unleash each student's creativity.
