Ever wanted to make your own prints? Come learn easy ways to make prints in class and that you can make at home. We’ll be exploring ways to make creative prints without using a printing press. We’ll be using plexiglass and Gelli plates with stencils and masks.  We’ll explore additive, subtractive, and trace monotype techniques.

What you will learn:
1. Students will be able to print a range of print techniques that don’t require a press
2. Students will learn the history and contemporary practice of printmaking
3. Students will learn to handle printmaking paper, mix color, register layers; curate & sign prints
4. Students will work in the community setting with shared materials and equipment; clean work area and tools
