Wheel Throwing Intensive (Afternoon)
Get fired up in this hands-on workshop! You'll learn how to use a pottery wheel to make bowls, mugs, plates, or pots. You will also learn the fundamentals of surface decoration and glazing.
Note: Fleisher will be closed on Monday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth. This 9-day camp is prorated accordingly.
About the Program
This summer, Fleisher is offering fun-filled art adventures designed for artists ages 5 – 18.
Younger artists (ages 5 – 12) can enroll in full days on a week-by-week basis. These campers will explore a wide range of mediums and themes designed for their specific age group.
Older artists (ages 13 – 18) can enroll in half days for 2-week-long immersive classes. Students can select the morning, or afternoon, or register for both offerings. These artists' classes allow them to pursue specific mediums more rigorously in order to develop their individual portfolios.
Campers will bring their own snacks and water bottles. Campers that register for both the morning & the afternoon sessions will bring their own lunches.
Daily Schedule
8:30 to 9:30 am: Drop off
9:30 am to 12:00 pm: Morning session
12:00 to 1:00 pm: Lunch
1:00 to 3:30 pm: Afternoon session
3:30 to 3:45 pm: Pick up
3:30 to 5:30 pm: After Camp Club (additional cost)
