Open Studio Hours are subject to change depending on studio availability. Winter hours are:

Monday: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Tuesday: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, 6:00-9:30 PM
Wednesday: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Thursday: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Open Studio provides access to self-directed students interested in exploring ceramics in a shared space. Participants must have technical proficiency, be capable of working independently and adhere to the studio firing schedule. Note that this is a monitored open studio and not an instructed class.

First time open studio users must participate in an orientation. Orientation is held on the first Tuesday evening of each term. If you need to schedule a separate orientation, contact Suzanne Seesman, Adult Education Associate: 215-922-3456 extension 324.

Participants must have a valid Fleisher membership.

  • This is an in-person class which will take place in our building with strict social distancing protocols and reduced student capacity. Please see our COVID-19 community safety policies.
  • • You are responsible for purchasing your own clay. Clay can be purchased online or at Fleisher's front desk.
  • • Bring any tools or materials that you prefer to use.

  • The Studio Fee covers glazes and firing.
