This course will provide you with an in depth understanding of the wonderful digital drawing and painting application Procreate. Throughout this class you will create sketches, experiment with a variety of working methods, participate in group discussions, and create a number of detailed illustrations of your own devising.

What you will learn in this workshop:
1. Comfort and familiarity with the application Procreate.
2. Understanding of the technical processes and digital workflows involved in creating multilayered illustrations.
3. Grounding in the process of creating a finished work from start to finish. This process will include idea gathering, sketching, refining, iteration, color studies, and finally sharing and critique.

  • This is an online class hosted through Zoom. We recommend that you download the free Zoom application on your computer, phone, or tablet in advance of the first class.

    You will receive a confirmation email containing a link to join the course via Zoom. The same link will be used each week.

Seth McKeever is an artist currently living in Philadelphia. He received a BFA in Sculpture and Animation from Tyler School of Art, and was also awarded a CARAS Grant and a Sculpture Project Award. His work is primarily experimental animation with an introspective, narrative bent.
