In this class, we will explore traditional bookbinding structures using some very modern materials and techniques. This is a great class for an introduction into the world of making books. You will gain a solid foundation in basic binding techniques as well as comfort with various tools and materials.
Through demonstrations & guided instruction, students will work through multiple projects throughout the class. The structure of this course will differ from past sessions, and is suitable for both new and returning students.
Please note: This is a 5-session workshop. Fleisher will be closed on Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day, and class will conclude on Monday, July 25.
