Fiber is a natural, plant based, or sometimes synthetic (human-made) material that can be made into things like fabric or yarn. It's all around us - in our clothes, pillows, and stuffed animals! We'll make some soft fiber sculpture and develop our fine motor skills along the way.
About the Program
Summer Camp at Fleisher is an immersive art-making opportunity for artists ages 5-18. Young artists can enroll in half-day or full-day sessions and explore a wide range of mediums, including printmaking, photography, fiber arts, ceramics, and graphic novels. Campers are encouraged to play, get messy, and pursue specific media in an environment that is both fun and artistically rigorous.
Summer Camp programming at Fleisher is offered from June 20th through July 29th, 2022. Workshops for ages 5-12 last one week each; workshops for teens last two weeks.
