De regreso nuestro querido maestro Pérez con un taller para la creación de alebrijes. El alebrije es una criatura fantástica de la artesanía mexicana también conocido como Nahuatkzosquit. Este taller es para adultos y familias. La mayoria de los materiales seran provistos.

Once again, the master of paper mache returns to Fleisher Art to help us create alebrijes. Alebrijes are magical folk creatures that originated in Mexico and are also known as Nahuatkzosquit. This workshop is for adults and families. Most materials will be provided.

  • Todos los adultos (mayores de 18 años) que ingresen a Fleisher deben presentar un comprobante de vacunación. Puede mostrar su tarjeta de vacunación o una copia o foto de la misma. Mauricio studied art at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He has been highly influenced by the Mexican Surrealism movement and uses this point of reference to create large Papier-mâché sculptures that commingle craft skills with academics art practices. With 20 years of experience of working in this medium, he currently teaches various Papier-mâché workshop throughout the Philadelphia and New York City areas and participates in local craft fairs in both regions.
