Wearable art and design got you curious? Sharpen your skills in this five-week workshop, with a fun challenge to design a matching jewelry set! Learn the basics of wearable art design through engaging lectures and demos, while you acquire basic techniques like sawing, filing, sanding, and forming. Working with found materials, copper, brass, or sterling silver, you'll have a chance to create a unique set of earrings,
a pendant, and a ring.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN IN THIS COURSE
1. History of jewelry making and design basics
2. Designing jewelry sets
3. Cold connection techniques such as sawing, sanding, forming, and filing
4. Working with found objects and metals such as copper, brass, silver
5. Using hand tools

  • This is an in-person class which will take place in our Jewelry Studio with strict social distancing protocols and a maximum of 6 students in the space. Students will be required to wear masks for the entire duration of the class.
