To assist you in preparing for this class, we have provided a link to the setup / test pages from the conference provider. If you have never used this conference service before please click on the link below so that your PC or device will be ready to participate in this class.

Students will learn to make pop-up books, tiny matchbox books etc. while learning drawing and collage techniques, building meaningful content based on each student’s amazing brain.

  • This is an online class hosted through Zoom. We recommend that you download the free Zoom application on your computer, phone, or tablet in advance of the first class.
  • • 1 Match Box (any size)
  • • 1 Pack Fold-Over Matches (matches removed),
  • • Plain White Paper (about 30 sheets)
  • • Fine Point Black Drawing Pens (0.1, 0.3 - I recommend Stadtler or Micron)
  • • Sharpie Marker
  • • Pencil
  • • Eraser
  • • Needles (with a big enough eye for kids to thread without too much trouble)
  • • Thread (any color)
  • • Thumbtacks (for poking holes)
  • • 2 Glue Sticks
  • • Sharp Scissors
  • • A scrap ff cardboard (to use as a work surface)
  • • An old book that is okay to destroy in the name of art
  • • Collage Materials
  • • A Stapler (only if you already own one)
