Learn from the great master the art of capturing the beauty and grace of the human form. The Rodin Museum houses 150 sculptures by the great artist that represent the span of his career. Immerse yourself in the world of the human figure as you explore the body's structure, proportion and gesture as so brilliantly achieved by Rodin.

We will be focusing on movement and mass in drawing. Rodin's special characteristics of motion and mass in sculpture will be investigated and explored through individual exercises in line and gesture. Students will be working in charcoal and pencil and encouraged to develop speed and feeling over mundane accuracy to capture the spirit of Rodin's work.

Fleisher members will be admitted to the museum for free. Non-members will have to pay an entrance fee.
