Come discover treasures in Philadelphia’s special collections! You will get special behind-the-scenes tours of Philadelphia institutions, where you will see fine art prints not normally available to the public. Together we will look at prints, learn how they were made, and learn how they are relevant to us today. Printmaking will come to life as we discover up close how artists use print processes like lithography, screen printing, and etching to make art and communicate ideas.

We will look at prints from the collection of the Brodsky Center at PAFA, a collaborative paper and printmaking center devoted to the creation of new work. Formerly located at Rutgers New Brunswick, the Brodsky Center came to Philadelphia in 2018. The Center's focus is on contemporary art and supporting women and artists of color to develop and promote the work of outstanding and innovative artists.

Location:
128 N Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19102
