This workshop serves as both an introduction and exploration of watercolor. Learn useful techniques like wet-in-wet, washes and drybrush as well as experimental methods for creating texture. Knowledge of drawing is helpful but not required. Work from photos, still life, and sketches to plan and create your own watercolor paintings while learning or reviewing design principles. Beginners will gain basic skills and knowledge of watercolor and intermediate and advanced students will have the opportunity to review techniques and explore a personal approach to watercolor painting.
