To realize your own inspiration, this course takes you through a study of perception, the history of composition, and drawing and painting exercises fashioned around Rubens’ sketches and Van Gogh’s illustrated letters. Students who have taken this course produce many drawings and paintings they never thought they had in them. To call this an inspirational class would be an understatement because each member becomes your fan and mentor. All approaches, from realistic to abstract, are supported. Come to the first class with a pencil and sketchbook.
