Exercise your intuition and creativity and make one-of-kind prints that explore mark making, texture, and color. A perfect introduction to the medium of printmaking, this workshop will explore the basic methods and techniques of the highly expressive monoprint process. Through instructor guided exercises you’ll be encouraged to experiment and create painterly prints of your own design.

Marie Elcin has been teaching in both the children and adult programs at Fleisher since 2007. She has a BFA from Moore College of Art and Design and a Master of Art Education from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. She is a practicing fiber artist with a focus on embroidery, surface design, and printmaking.
