This digital photography workshop will focus on capturing street life and architecture during photographic walks, around Philly, in the neighborhoods surrounding Fleisher Art Memorial.

We will explore various methods of shooting action in varying lighting situations, working both in groups and individually. We will critique and view the work of other photographers, and we will print the images you shoot with some editing instruction.

You should know how to use your camera and it must have manual settings.

What will you learn in this workshop?
1. How to manipulate photographic exposures to create beautiful images using both manual and automatic camera settings
2. Learn about professional photographers, and how they work
3. Learn how to approach, and talk to people you want to photograph as subjects
4. How to shoot from the hip, unnoticed
5. How to recognize a great shot
