The best camera is the one you have with you -- and you always have your phone with you! Learn how you can use your iPhone or Android smartphone to take better photos, and become a better photographer. In this workshop you will learn to take control of your phone’s camera to adjust exposure and focus. You will also learn more advanced editing techniques to help your photos look their best. We'll discuss saving and organizing your photos and options for sharing photos online. And since phone photography is, well, photography, we'll also talk about lighting, composition, color, and other elements that can turn a good photo into a great one!

  • • You should be familiar with downloading apps from the Apple App Store and Google Play App Store and have accounts set up for paid apps
  • • Make sure you have enough free space on your phone for apps and photos; about 1 GB
  • • We will be discussing which apps to download in the first class. Expect to pay approximately $10 for each app
