Bas-relief sculpture exists between the second and third dimension. In this course you will learn bas relief portraiture with a twist. We'll start out by learning the traditional bas relief portraiture techniques from the profile, three quarter, and front view. Once you have gained some mastery with those points of view we will explore more extreme points of view with the goal of completing one large, 2’ x 3' piece.
